Tyrone Washington is CBA #1 draft pick for 2006

The United States Basketball Academy (USBA) is recognized internationally as the leader in providing innovative training and education to assist basketball players and coaches in reaching their fullest potential. The Academy was founded in 1993 by Bruce O`Neil, former University of Hawaii Head Basketball Coach and former President and founder of Westcom Productions, Inc., a video production company that produced more than 100 sports training videos for the ESPN Home Video Library.

O`Neil and the late basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain shared a vision to create an Academy where athletes and coaches could concentrate solely on basketball without `big city` distractions. With a team of investors, O`Neil built the United States Basketball Academy on 47 acres of prime recreational property nestled in the mountains along the McKenzie River, just 46 miles east of Eugene-Springfield, Oregon.

The organization delivers on its mission to provide basketball knowledge to the world through its educational programs and training camps held at the Academy as well as at facilities in Asia and Europe.

Over the years, hundreds of professional, college and high school coaches from around the world have come to rely on the USBA and its distinguished faculty for basketball education not only for themselves, but also for their players.
